PRIVACY POLICY

Overview and Purpose

This Privacy Policy describes how educally collects, uses, and shares your Personal Information when you interact with the educally app or when someone interacts with the app on your behalf The term “Personal Information” (as used throughout this Privacy Policy) is information that relates to an individual who can be directly or indirectly identified.

Finally, it describes how Members collect, use, and share your Personal Information when you join classes offered by those Institutes on the educally app.

 

Information Collected

Educally collects information from you when you create an educally account and/or sign up to receive more information on the educally app. For example, we require your name, age, username, email address and Institution Name, Institution Id photo and Id number when you create an account for Admin account. We also require your contact details when you sign up to receive more information about you, otherwise we cannot send you this information, and we collect information from you when you send messages to us whether on the educally app.

 

User Consent

Tests & Quizzes. Rankings and Question Bank, Permissions, Requests, Classroom, Timetables, Homeworks and Assignments Progress tracking, Push notifications, Teacher dashboard, Syncing across devices, Attendance, Performance, Exam and Class Groups.

Institute and Teachers receive your Personal Information after you enroll in an Institution offered by that Teacher and Admin or otherwise with your express consent. If you enroll in an institute, the Member that offers that will receive Personal Information from your educally account profile. During your participation in a class, the Member that offers that will receive the information that educally collects about your activity and performance in that subjects.

The Datas will not be shared and will be seen only to the particular school or institute and will not be accessible to others.

Institutes use your Personal Information for the following purposes:

  • Create, administer, provide, and teach subjects;
  • Send Notices and Check status of School Data
  • Communicate with you;
  • Class rankings and programs;
  • Keep track of your exam scores and attendance.
  • Compare stats with your class members.

 

Members share your Personal Information in the following ways:

  • With teachers and admins
  • With other teachers in institutes that you take and with other visitors to the educally app, to create an interactive learning environment, support class participation, and share subject information;
  • For legal or safety reasons;
  • To detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or other technical issues; and

 

Access and correct your Personal Information
We Access the Data only who is Enrolled in Educally Application. Much of your Personal Information is available in your educally account. Your name, email address, and other identifiable profile information is editable through your educally Account Settings except as noted below. Your account dashboard has different features for different logins, please refer to terms and conditions for more info. Please contact educally admin to request any corrections to your Personal Information.

Please note that usernames cannot be changed. This is an educally system restriction. Because usernames identify you in classes and elsewhere on the educally app, educally encourages you to use discretion in choosing your username. If you want to protect your identity, use your real name or a name enrolled in your institute or institute id as your username. Also, educally does not track or index every time or every place on the educally app when or where a learner may volunteer Personal Information. Educally encourages you to use discretion before volunteering Personal Information on the educally app.

 

Data Retention and Deletion
Educally will retain your Personal Information for as long as your account is active or as needed to: provide you with services you have requested; maintain a record of your transactions for progress reporting, audit, and compliance purposes; or comply with educally legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and as otherwise permitted by applicable law. 

Upon your request to deactivate your account and delete your information, educally will, within 30 days of your request, including without limitation, archiving your app data (in a manner and to the extent permitted under applicable law) to serve its mission to enable scientific research on cognitive science and education. These archives will be used to produce encrypted research data packages for Members, and each such Member may also keep and use course data for scientific research.

By incorporating these considerations into your data usage policy, you demonstrate a commitment to transparency and user privacy. So we can regularly review and update these policies to align with changes in the app’s functionality or evolving privacy regulations.

 

For legal or safety reasons

We access or share your information to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; in connection with an investigation on matters related to public safety; as permitted by law; or otherwise as required by law. We disclose your information to protect the security of the educally app and our servers, network systems, and databases. We also disclose your information, as necessary, if we believe that there has been a violation of our Terms of Service (including investigation of potential violations thereof), any other legal document or contract related to the educally app, or the rights of any third party.

 

Storage and Security
Educally stores information, including Personal Information, on its own servers and on servers of companies that Educally approved to provide institute Admins. Each Member also stores information, including Personal Information, on its own servers and/or on servers of Institues that the Member hires to provide classes.

Educally controls its own copy of information collected through the Educally app and has an information security program designed to protect information in its possession or control. This is done through a variety of privacy and security policies, processes, and procedures. Educally uses administrative, physical, and technical safeguards that reasonably and appropriately protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the information that it collects, receives, stores, or transmits. Nonetheless, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure; and therefore, Educally cannot guarantee its absolute security. While Educally works hard to ensure the integrity and security of its network and systems, Educally cannot guarantee that its security measures will prevent unauthorized persons from illegally accessing or obtaining information.

If Educally learns of a security breach involving its copy of your Personal Information, Educally will backup and inform in an application. By using the Educally app or providing Personal Information to Educally , you agree that Educally can communicate with you regarding security, privacy, and administrative issues relating to your use of the Educally app. If a security systems breach occurs, Educally may post a notice on the Educally homepage (www.Educally.in) or elsewhere on the Educally app and may send an email to you at the email address associated with your Educally account. Depending on where you are located, you may have a legal right to receive notice of a security breach, involving your Personal Information, in writing.


If a Member learns of a security breach involving that Member’s copy of your Personal Information, the Member may attempt to notify you so that you may take appropriate protective steps. By joining in a Institute on the Educally Site or providing Personal Information to the Member, you agree that the Member can communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy, and administrative issues relating to your subjects enrollment and class participation. If a security systems breach occurs, the affected Member may post a notice on the Educally site and/or send an email to you at the email address associated with your enrollment in the Member’s course on the Educally Site. Depending on where you are located, you may have a legal right to receive notice of a security breach, involving your Personal Information, in writing.

 

Privacy Policy Updates

This Privacy Policy will be reviewed and updated from time to time. When we do make material changes, we will give notice via the Educally Site or by otherwise notifying you. The Privacy Policy will include a “Last Updated” date indicating that you should review the new terms, which will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. By accessing the Educally Site after any changes have been made, you accept the modified Privacy Policy and any changes contained therein. In case you miss the notification referenced above, be sure to return to this page periodically to ensure familiarity with the most current version of this Privacy Policy.
